COVID-19 Policy

from Within provides counseling, coaching, and consultation for parents, children, and adolescents.

Updated April 4, 2020

We have put in place a COVID-19 policy to care for you during this time and are committed to the health and well-being of your family. We are no longer offering in person appointments since cannot guarantee that kids or parents with whom we might meet in person are not carriers of the coronavirus (as some people are asymptomatic and contagious).  We simply do not want to put you or your loved ones at risk of getting sick.

We also recognize that many of you have been impacted financially by recent social distancing policies and shutdowns because of the coronavirus.  We are committed to caring for families in need, even in times of financial difficulty.  The following plan reflects our intent to helping families who are experiencing or anticipating financial hardship during this time.

Remote Counseling

  • If any family that would like to have their session remotely, we will set up a phone or FaceTime appointment, as requested.

  • Phone or FaceTime appointments are also available to any new families seeking counseling.

In-Person Counseling

  • In-person counseling will no longer be offered until further notice.

  • We are cancelling all groups through April 30, 2020.

Financial Relief to Families in Need

  • We are offering a reduced rate to any family who has lost work or experienced financial hardship because of closures, social distancing, and government orders designed to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to making counseling available to any family in need, no matter their ability to pay. Please contact your counselor directly for more details.

We know that this can be a stressful time and raise anxiety in parents and kids.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support you and your family during this time. You are not alone.
