The first session is all about getting acquainted. Your counselor will learn about you and what brings you in, discuss your goals, and begin building the relationship that makes counseling work. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to share.

We are currently a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. We can provide a superbill upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Yes. What you share in counseling is confidential. There are limited legal exceptions (such as if there is risk of harm to yourself or others), which your counselor will explain in your first session.
