Bio
Lane Newton is a licensed professional counselor who provides counseling services to children, women, and families in Nashville. She specializes in working with trauma and attachment. Lane considers it an honor to be able to listen, support, and connect families to hope.

Relationship and collaboration are two essential components of Lane's counseling. It is important for each person to feel safe and valued in order to move forward in therapy. Although counseling often deals with difficult topics, she believes therapy with children should be engaging and fun, using play therapy in sessions. Lane practices evidenced-based treatments and is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC), and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) therapies.
