Whether married, engaged, or dating, couples need a safe place to find refuge. Because life tends to hurt us and break us in ways that feels beyond fixing, it is often hard for couples to be close, open up, or see and hear each other. The damage from life’s shrapnel leaves us wounded and guarded, our ways of relating alienate us, and our longings for closeness seem just out of reach. from Within is a place where couples learn how to better communicate and understand one another or who are seeking help because of crisis, infidelity, transition, and loss. We hope to help couples connect in stronger and more life-giving ways, not only in spite of life’s hardships but because life’s hardships can deepen our capacity for love and draw us closer together.
